This week we are looking at the Gladiator’s Medallion and how you can use it preemptively to guarantee the cast of abilities with channeled start times. For example, in the clips below you can press your self cleanse right before activating Alexstrasza’s Dragon Form and Lucio’s Beat Drop to ensure that you don’t get interrupted. This can be particularly effective if the enemy team has a lot of ways to interrupt and if they are particularly trying to interrupt your ability (Wave of Force, Wailing Arrow, Frag Grenade, Dragon Arrow, Face Melt, etc.). Other notable abilities this self cleanse technique can combo with are Chen’s Storm Earth and Fire, Tyreal’s Sanctification, ETC’s Mosh Pit and Mal’Ganis Carrion Swarm.
