This season we will be focusing on Division D shenanigans, and boy howdy, this division has a fun lineup! Without further ado, let’s introduce our teams.
30 Seconds to Mosh – A perennial favorite in Div D, the Echo Pedalers are back with essentially the same lineup as previous seasons. They do have one new player in yelly (a CSmash fan, perhaps?), so it will be interesting to see how they will be incorporated into their regular lineup.
Beyonce Gnolls – This team took quite a bit of time off after having an excellent run in Div E, and are back with mostly yhe same roster, with one addition in Lagwagon. Their opponents will have to reach back a bit to do their scouting, but it is always great to see teams return to NGS play!
COSMOS – Another veteran team who has played in a number of NGS divisions, they are back with a roster unchanged from last season. This team is known for creative drafts, so expect the unexpected when they are on the battlefield.
Cream Team – This team was new last season, and had a respectable record for players new to the competitive scene. They are back, and now with some experience under their collective belts, we will see how that changes their game this season.
Dehakin’ Donuts – A team composed of extremely experienced players, Dehakin’ Donuts looks new on paper, but don’t underestimate their skill! Unless it is taco, you never know with that guy…
F.H.K. Marry Kill – Another relatively new team with an experienced roster, this team finished in the middle of the pack, but look to move up now that they have had a season to work out their synergy. They do have one new player in SixPoint, and with a relatively small roster, they can’t be ignored in the scouting report.
Habitual Line Steppers – Stepping back into the Div D spotlight, this veteran team has added a couple of players, which could add some flexibility to their comps. With one of the larger rosters in the division, they may be capable of anything.
Phoenix Rising Amethyst – They are yet another perennial contender in this division, and currently have the smallest roster. With the re-addition of chelsi, they have one of their classic lineups, and with their division experience, should know what to expect from everyone else.
Sugarman’s Soggy Sandwich Shop – After taking a few seasons off, this team is back and, er, soggier than ever? The lineup is mostly the same, but they have new blood in their captain, GerudoKing. Formerly known as Rooster Pizza, they are ditching the birds and pies for a new and daring look. Yes, I know what joke I left on the table here.
YCMYCCaST: Ahsoka (Da Lanes) – And rounding out the lineup for this season, the Yavapai crew is back with their latest Star Wars reference, and an unchanged lineup. Always fun to watch, if hard to pronounce, this team has played consistently since season 11!
