Website Season 10

Hello Heroes. Tech team update for season 10. This will be short and sweet as tech team has been busy. Mostly in the background improving things for the mods and the season sign up process. Streamlining that flow and making it as easy as possible for the mods to do the job of getting your members onto your team and making sure your team is easily registered. Also fixing many bugs that were introduced with the assistant captain system that ended up causing a few issues last season. Any way there are just two new front facing features we want to make everyone aware of.

Number 1;

Have you ever wondered who was the grand champion last season? Maybe you wondered who was the grand champ of Division D back in season 6. Yeah, so did we. So we’ve created a list of the matches in as complete a form as we’ve been able to muster. We searched and collaborated with the greatest historians from the annals of NGS to bring you the current list as is. We’re proud to introduce you to NGS GOATs. Where you can find the match ups of all the grand finalist from bygone seasons. You can find the new grand champions list under Past Seasons > NGS GOATs or clicking here
Note: While we have compiled this list from VODs we could find and the minds of the volunteers some of the data is incomplete, if you have any info or VODs for older matchups share them with us! Going forward the grand finals will be captured much like all the other matches of NGS are now so we can preserve the info more completely.

Number 2;

This will apply mostly to casters.
We’ve added an easier way for the casters to handle replay casting. In the caster dashboard you can check the Replay Casts tab to see all the matches that have slipped through without a caster on them. Find a match you want to cast; give it a date and time you want to cast the replay, then you assign your caster URL information. Note: this date will cause the link to your stream to show on the NGS front page just like live casted games. You will also still need to report your VOD to the match in the caster reporting.

1. Claim match on replay browser
2. Check if posted in #cast_my_replay
   1. If it is, download and cast
   2. If not, either wait, DM Smiley, or download from website (Spoilers)
3. Cast
